Padel Holiday from Belgium: The Complete Guide to Spain

Belgium has one of the fastest-growing padel communities in Europe. Thousands of Belgian players — from Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent and beyond — are now looking beyond their local clubs and asking where to take their game next. The answer, increasingly, is a dedicated padel holiday in Spain. This guide explains why, and how to book one that suits your level and budget.

Why Belgian Players Choose Spain for Padel Holidays

Belgium has excellent padel infrastructure — but the weather, the variety of court venues and the cultural experience of playing in Spain are hard to replicate at home.

  • Climate: Costa Brava enjoys 300+ days of sunshine. For players used to Belgian weather, playing under a clear blue sky on an outdoor court changes the experience entirely.
  • Level of play: Spanish players at every level push harder than most Belgian club opponents. A week of training alongside them accelerates your development noticeably.
  • Ease of travel: Direct flights from Brussels and Charleroi to Barcelona or Girona take under 2 hours. Lloret de Mar is 50–60 minutes from Barcelona airport.
  • All-inclusive packages: Hotel, coaching, meals and tournament entry in a single booking. No logistics to organise separately.
  • Dutch and French spoken: Padel & Go's team is multilingual — we communicate in English, Spanish, French and Dutch. Belgian players never struggle to be understood.

Best Destinations in Spain for Belgian Padel Players

Several regions compete for Belgian padel tourism, but the Costa Brava stands out for a specific combination of reasons:

  • Lloret de Mar: The base for Padel & Go's tournaments and training camps. A classic beach resort with modern padel courts, 4-star hotels, and a vibrant summer atmosphere. The Saturday night padel party has become a tradition for regulars.
  • Accessibility: Ryanair flies from Brussels Charleroi and Eindhoven to Girona Airport (GRO) — 30 minutes from Lloret. VLM flies from Antwerp to Barcelona. Most Belgian players reach their hotel within 3 hours of landing.
  • Group-friendly: Lloret's hotel infrastructure is excellent for groups. Whether you are coming with a padel club of 20 or a group of four friends, accommodation is available at every budget level.

Types of Padel Holiday Available for Belgian Groups

Weekend Padel Break (3 days / 2 nights) — from €319 per person

The most popular format for Belgian players making a first padel trip abroad. Three hours of professional coaching, a match against local or international players, and two nights at a 4-star hotel with half board. Fits easily into a long weekend — fly Thursday evening, return Sunday night.

Full Training Camp (5 days / 4 nights) — from €849 per person

Our flagship programme. Six hours of coaching, match play, a welcome dinner and full head coach accompaniment. Limited to 8 players per date. Best for players who want measurable improvement alongside a proper holiday.

Tournament Package (3–5 days with competition) — from €399 per person

Combine your stay with a slot in one of Padel & Go's international padel tournaments. Categories run from beginner (Bronze) to competitive (Gold). Around 30% of tournament participants arrive without a partner — we pair you with someone of similar level.

Custom Group Experience — flexible pricing

For padel clubs, company teams and social groups. We build the programme around your group's size, level, dates and goals. Groups of 10–30 players are our speciality.

What Level Do You Need?

No experience is required for training camps — our coaches work with complete beginners. For tournaments, any level is welcome: we use Gold/Silver/Bronze categories to ensure balanced competition. If your club plays regularly and you want a social competitive trip, the Silver category is typically the right fit for most Belgian club players.

Practical Information for Belgian Travellers

  • Flights: Ryanair (Brussels Charleroi → Girona), Ryanair (Brussels Charleroi → Barcelona), and connections via Brussels Airlines or other carriers from Brussels Airport (BRU).
  • Transfer: Girona Airport is 30 minutes from Lloret. Barcelona El Prat is 50–60 minutes. We can arrange shared or private transfers as an add-on.
  • Language: French- and Dutch-speaking players are fully catered for. All pre-trip communications can be in your preferred language.
  • Currency and cost: Spain uses the euro. Daily expenses outside the package (lunch, drinks, excursions) typically run €20–40 per person.
  • Best dates: May, June, September and October are ideal. Belgian school holidays in July and August coincide with peak season and higher hotel prices.
